Located at 17505 E Warren Ave, Detroit, MI 48224, One Stop Fish Chicken & Seafood operates as a seafood market serving Detroit in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as chicken shop, fish store, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Detroit with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Michigan may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–10 pm. This fish and chicken spot is definitely the place to visit! The food is always hot, fresh, and made to order. I highly recommend calling ahead—when they tell you it'll be ready in 15 minutes, it's usually right on time. The quality is consistently great, and they'll prepare your meal exactly how you like it. If you're looking for fresh food and excellent service, this place won't disappoint

Delicious, addictive! I try to order not too much. My favorite is 1lb of fried smelt. Nice size smelt if you know smelt. Omg, so good and crispy! The photo is half the order.

I've ordered food via a food delivery service twice. The first was experience was stellar. The catfish, shrimp, chicken, and fries were fresh. I loved the chicken gizzards. I ordered a small, but they gave me a large. Thank you! The second time was just ok. I tried the whiting and shrimp combo. I didn't care for the whiting. Both the fish and fries lacked seasoning. The shrimp were good. Aside from the unseasoned fish and fries, my biggest gripe with this order was the $5 slice of cake. This chocolate cake was sooooo dry and crumbly. They shouldn't have sold it. If I order from this restaurant again, I won't ever order any desserts or whiting fish again.

This place just became my new favorite place to eat at. Customer service is a 10/10. I tried tasting the food in the parking lot but it was so good I ate all of it right there! I’m coming back again, very satisfied customer. I love how everyone was so kind, helpful, and patient!

Food quality:** The fish, chicken, and shrimp were seasoned well. Each protein had a solid flavor profile that didn’t feel bland or overpowering. The seasoning struck a nice balance across the board. Portion sizes:** The portions were generous. I left satisfied without feeling like I needed to order extra sides to make it a meal. Fries:** I’m not a fan of crinkly fries—my preference is for a smoother fry. That said, the fries didn’t ruin the experience; they were just a noticeable departure for me personally. Chicken texture:** The chicken was fried a bit crisper than I prefer. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, and I’d still order it again, but I’d prefer a tad less crunch next time. Overall vibe:** A solid addition to the neighborhood with good flavor and value. The crinkle-fries thing is personal taste rather than a critique of the restaurant's capability. Recommendation:** Definitely worth a revisit. If you share my preference for non-crinkled fries and slightly less-crispy chicken, you’ll still enjoy the overall quality and portion sizes. If you’ve been, I’d love to hear how your experience compared—especially your take on the fry style and chicken texture.
